FISE World Montpellier 2016

Pro Skateboarding finals results

05 May 2016 23:19

The Skateboarders offered us such great finals this afternoon ! Under a radiant sun and a won over public, the riders threw an amazing tricks and style festival. Finally, no less than three French riders made their way to the podium, cocorico !

1- Milou Vincent

2- Giraud Aurélien

3- Bulard Adrien

ADRIEN BULARD GOT POSSESSED…AGAIN

Was it really a contest ?  It didn’t feel like when Adrien Bulard dropped the Chicago banks with a flip fakie, ending a serie of harsh crashes. The finals were over but the French man couldn’t stop on a failed attempt during his run and he kept on throwing that risky trick for the passion and for the huge crowd who will remember it for a long time. When he is possessed like that, Adrien makes skateboarding looks unreal ! Winning the Best trick of the day later on that crazy afternoon was well deserved.

MILOU 1 – 1 GIRAUD

Adrien got 3rd at the contest as well but left the two other Frenchmen Vincent Milou and Aurélien Giraud fight for the right to party ! Both were consistent as you could dream of, pulling tricks on every obstacle; at the end Vincent picks up the win owning his revenge to last week Simple Session. Both were super innovative on this sweet street course, and the show all the riders produced made skateboarding look so sweet. It was probably one of the best event the FISE organised in the past years, definitely a moment to remember ! 160 000 people were visiting FISE on a single day, lucky them.

IT’S ONLY THE BEGINNING

We will see on the next stages of the FISE world series if this friendly rivalry between the Frenchmen continue to overlook the great international line up. Be sure that Portuguese Gustavo Ribeiro, Russians, british and Americans will have something to say about that !

Thanks, thanks, thanks skateboarding for this amazing event.
