THE STORY

Kostya Andreev and Alex Nikulin are the two best BMX park riders in Russia, competing around the country and all over the world. They have the same passion for BMX, the same fire to become the best they can…although they are very different.

Kostya comes from the North, the beautiful but cold Saint Petersburg. Alex comes from the South, the quiet and sunny Krasnodar near to the black sea.

Kostya always struggle to find places to ride, there is not so much to ride in SP, his local indoor skatepark is far and in bad shape. With the need of progressing more, to be closer to a big airport…Kostya decided to move to Moscow.

Alex is lucky to have many skateparks in his area, specially the XSA base where he can practice anytime, under a good weather. This summer the big bowl in XSA backyard is being rebuilt so he is ok to move to Moscow to ride the new skatepark there.

2 riders, 2 different characters and personnalities who gets along well even if they are always competing each other, it helps them to push themselves and progress. When they meet, they challenge themselves to pull new tricks. With the opening of the new park of Moscow, this is a good pretext to meet and ride hard on a very good skatepark.

These 2 riders are showing Russia on the map of BMX, but they also motivate the Russian scene to grow and to become better and better. So when they invite the Moscow rider to join them for a relax « for the brave » jam, many people show up and ride hard as well.

Among them there is the incredible talented 18 years old Irek Risaev who comes from Kazan in center Russia. He is performing at a high level in front of Kostya and Alex who host the jam (alex is the mc, kostya is the dj). It all ends with a barbecue and the price is given to the riders with direct cash for tricks and an Honor phone.
