EMIL JOHANSSON RESISTS THE ROGATKIN STORM

26 May 2017 16:54

His semi-final historical run definitely did not come by luck and EMIL JOHANSSON confirms that from now on he is a part of the elite. At the age of 17 only, you can definitely expect him to keep progressing and shake up the current hierarchy. NICHOLI ROGATKIN (his run here) did throw a lot of tailwhips and show his joy after every landing of its famous twister,  but judges favoured the clean and fluid run of the Swedish (the run here) : Flip double whip, double truck to downside whip followed by an oppo whip and an oppo truck (the bonus to his semi-final run) and a beautiful 3.6 double downside whip - feet high in the air to avoid all contact with the seat. Again, the young rider being so fresh on the FISE and delivering an impeccable run, the judges were clearly seduced and its american rival had to take the 2nd spot. MEDHI GANI is 3rd (his run here), then we have SZYMON GODZIEK and his incredible cliffhanger flip, DIEGO CAVERZAZI, PAUL COUDERC, REED BOGGS, LOUIS REBOUL, REMY CARRA, TOM ISTED (we'll see him again in BMX), SAM PILGRIM (...we'll see him again on his Youtube channel) and JOSH HULT.
