23 Jun 2017 14:05

What's the "Olympic Day" ?

Let's talk a bit about history : on June 23, 1894, Pierre de Coubertin creates the international olympic committee and gives a new life to the olympic games. Ever since, on every June 23, everywhere in the world, the olympic day is celebrated along with its sports values.

That day is also the occasion to showcase and open the featured disciplines to everyone.

This year, the olympic day in Paris becomes "the olympic days " and offer you a giant sport playground by the riverside of La Seine at the heart of the french capital during two days ; and guess what ? BMX will be there, in olympic days mode. And we will be the ones taking care of the entertainment and demonstrations with the FFC (Fédération Française de Cyclisme) in the zone between the Petit and Grand Palais.

Come for some sport action in the centre of Paris with 10 zones to try 33 sports or simply watch demonstrations by french athletes including handisport athletes. Unseen sports structures at the heart of Paris. Not to be missed if you are in the capital area that weekend !
