Last weekend took place the Ride On LR tour in Gignac.

This second edition of the event was a great success, and all the BMX and roller riders really shred hard on the FISE Park. The two fun Box linking right after the big kicker gave us an amazing show, especially with the amount of talent present at the event.

The atmosphere in Gignac was really amazing and we have to mention the efforts coming from the community and their ambassador Christian Borel with his contagious smile.

Riders came from all over the region and even from Paca and Savoir.

Highlight of the weekend:  the excellent performance by Luca Bertrand, 9 years old, who rode with a lot of enthusiasm and talent. The are some future champions in the region and the crowd could see it clearly!

Are thought are with Tom Deville who collided with Enzo Robbe and got injured. He was first in the qualification for the riders under 16 y.o. and couldn’t make it to the finals. We wish you a prompt healing, Tom, and congrats on your performance in the qualifications!

Gael Robert, winner of the 2011 edition, had to abandon the competition after hurting his knee.

In roller, David Aubert was going extremely high on the features. Kevin Padou got

some huge transfers and Nicolas Auroux was going at mach 2 on the park: he 

looked like a skier! Thomas Riffaud tales the first place with class, his runs were fluid, originals and very stylish.

In BMX,  it’s Quentin Morien who wins with some big transfers, crazy speed and some double tailwhips. Iststvan Caillet improvised a run on the Up Le

dge and went for a super tight front flip that set the whole FISE park on fire. We also have to mention Clement Caillé’s stylish run and Anthony Jeanjean and his foot injury.

A huge congrats to all the riders and thanks to Gignac, the FISE team and Ride On LR for this amazing contest that we hope we will see more of in other parts of the region!
