ANOTHER DAY FOR ANOTHER WORLD

In 2016, FISE travels around the World with 5 stages in 3 different continents for his young but very promising World Series. But for 20 editions now this is the World who comes to Montpellier and attends the International Festival of Extreme Sports born in the crazy mind of Hervé-André Benoît.

ALL IN ONE WORLD

Indeed, when the World of Freestyle gathers in Montpellier, the city gets pumped up with a stunning energy that last all day…and all night. When spectators are also the actors, the crowd becomes the star. When the amateurs wake up early to ride their own competitions that have the same structure as the professionnals, it shows the strength and the authenticity of a FISE that has never been so popular. This is FISE World.

A WORLD OF MANY

Another tradition of this unique event is the variety of disciplines that bring all types of athletes to meet and share their passion. This Saturday has been no different on the banks of the Lez, a river who might become the most visited of France. Thousands of heads, hands and hearts could actually select or improvise their own schedule, for free. From the UCI BMX Freestyle Park World Cup 2016 semi-finals to the Wakeboarding qualifiers, to the insane show of Julien Cudot on the Roller Slopestyle, without forgetting of course the amazing attractivity of the Spine Ramp used tonight successively by Skateboarders, Rollers and Scooters ; the FISE was definitely a world on its own today.

ENJOYING THE END OF THE WORLD

Montpellier becomes every year the capital of Extreme Sports, a welcoming world, open to everyone, which switch in a sweet euphoria for 5 days. Tomorrow, this frenzy world will end with the captivating BMX and Wakeboard pro competitions, one of a kind of an apocalypse we can’t wait to taste.
