The  FISE organizers invited the national and international press this morning in la Bellevilloise, Paris, to announce the official FISE World Series 2016 dates. The tour is growing some more this year with 5 dates on the calendar

Take a look at what is coming!

Do you know about the FISE World Series?

The FISE World Series are an action sports world championship  that gathers the best riders in the world in disciplines like BMX, Skateboard, Mountain Bike, Inline skate and Wakeboard. Both amateurs and pros come to the competitions to battle on custom made parks, built and created by the FISE Area team.

This FWS World tour offers free events in staple locations in each one of the host cities. The riders have the chance to accumulate points and win prize money on each one of the stops. Overall rankings are calculated at the end of the year, to determine the overall FWS Champion in each one of the disciplines. There is a big novelty this year on the FWS, as we will be organizing the UCI BMX Freestyle Park World Cup.

Are you ready to follow us around the globe?

Here we go! First stop, Montpellier in France, on May 4-8 for the biggest event of the tour, the FISE World Montpellier presented by Honor.  This event has become a classic in the Languedoc Roussillon Midi Pyrénées region, and with reason: this year will be the event’s 20th edition!

Represented Sports:

BMX Flat / BMX Freestyle Park / BMX Spine Ramp / Inline Skate / Skateboard / MTB Slopestyle / Wakeboard

Second stop, Croatia, a novelty on the 2016 tour.  We will bring our BMX park to Osijek on July 22-23. The Pannonia Challenge welcomes the FWS this summer, for the second stop of the UCI BMX Freestyle Park World Cup. What a great reason to visit Eastern Europe!

Let’s now cross the Atlantic ocean and head to Denver, Colorado in the USA  on September 3-5 for the 3rd stop of the 2016 FWS. It’s the first time in North America for the FISE World Series, and we are starting things off with BMX Flat, BMX Park and skateboard on 2 sites in Denver, the Metropolitan States University and the Sculpture Park.

AJ Anaya  and a dozen of other local athletes will be there to try to catch the judge’s and the public’s attention, so get ready for a jaw-dropping show!

Right after the USA, the FWS heads to Canada, in Edmonton on September 16-18 for the 4th stop of the 2016 tour. We are bringing out features to Hawrelak Park with a full competition schedule, including MTB Slopestyle, BMX Flat, BMX Freestyle Park and Skateboard.

We will then wrap up our world tour in China, on October 28-30 in Chengdu, for the 3rd consecutive year.  The Szechuan’s capital will once more host a FISE World Series stop. If you still haven’t been to the land of the rising sun, it will be a great occasion to discover this rich and different culture through a common passion, action sports. Come enjoy a full program with wakeboard, BMX Freestyle Park, Skateboard, MTB Slopestyle and Roller competitions.
