Since 10 years, the city of Le Havre welcomes every year in August « Le Week-end de la Glisse », a stopover for the FISE Xperience Series.
These three days of celebration are the chance for freestyle sports’ enthusiasts to watch the pro and amateur competitions of BMX, skateboarding, roller and freestyle scooters, and enjoy the side events on the action sports theme. Le Havre effectively offers exceptional conditions, both technically and on the sportive side to practice all forms of water sports (windsurf, kitesurf, stand-up paddle, skimboard, rowing, J80, optimist… but also recreational boating).
A LAND OF CHAMPIONS
Skateboarding is officially a part of the new disciplines integrating the Olympic Games from 2020 in Tokyo, and Le Havre will be worthily represented ! In fact, our champions Noah Mahieu, Joseph Garbaccio and Laurine Lemieux have integrated the first french skateboarding team and are getting ready for the 2020 games.
