The finals for the WS Roller Freestyle World Cup just took place, and it is little to say these were some of the most exciting we have ever seen on a FISE course! 2017 World Series, winner Julien Cudot managed to come back strong after a disappointing performance yesterday, eventually landing in third place. Top contenders Takeshi Yasutuko and Joe Atkinson managed to take over the rankings at the last minute, as the Japanese legend of halfpipe ended on the second step of the podium, and the young Yorkshire prodigy took the win with a flawless run, filled with big transfers and impeccable lines! Full of surprises until the very end, these finals proved to be a perfect start for the 2018 season! As the head judge Blake Bird said: "everybody skated the course amazing and the top 3 absolutely killed it. The Japanese guys put on an amazing show and it's gonna be great to see Takeshi in Montpellier".
1- Joe Atkinson
