BMX Dirt returns to FISE

 

One of FISE’s historic disciplines, BMX Dirt from its very beginnings attracted a community of riders who wanted to share the culture of their sport without distorting it. By supporting these must-see contests and their legendary nights, the Festival is launching a new zone beyond the traditional one on the banks of the Lez. 

 

The new sports area is situated on a 12-hectare site in Pérols (before it becomes the Ode à la Mer urban district) and has been made available by the Métropole (via SAAM) and the Frey Group. There will be two evening programmes on Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 May, when competitions and live music will combine for a unique show. 

 

About Ode à la Mer

 

Antoine Frey, CEO of the Frey Group, said, ‘In 2022, there’ll be a new area in Pérols along the Route de la Mer, between Carrefour and Le Liner. Composed of offices, shops, a hotel, and many restaurants, Ode à la Mer will above all be a place dedicated to sports and leisure, a destination of an unprecedented scale for the Montpellier district.
