Banger after Banger in the BMX Dirt Qualification!
BMX Dirt made its welcome return to FISE World Series this year in Montpellier and we couldn’t be more hyped to see it here in Chengdu as well. BMX Dirt is always an entertaining contest to watch, you never know what will happen as riders take advantage of the relaxed atmosphere to try their most insane tricks.
There were 12 riders in the contest and each had 3 runs, although Sergio Layos and Temperan Eber chose to ride 2 of their runs together in a train. A reflection of their trust in each other and the relaxed atmosphere we mentioned earlier.
After a super entertaining contest it was 19 year old Alec Danelutti who came out on top with 86.67 pts. The rider from Australia landed some epic tricks including a tuck to 360 tailwhip.
In second place was BMX legend and team USA coach Ryan Nyquist. Ryan was in full flow today and landed an awesome 360 suicide no hander in his final run.
In 3rd spot going into the final tomorrow is Jacob Levia from the USA who characteristically when all in even trying a decade 360. Super stylistic riding from him.
Tomorrow’s final takes place at 3:00pm Local Time.
