Hannah Roberts is no stranger to best parks in the world, but did you know that her favourite country is Australia?
In our next instalment of ’21 Questions with…’ we caught up with the Women’s BMX Freestyle champion to get to know the girl behind the wheels.
Favourite stop on the 2018 FISE World Series tour?
2018: Probably Edmonton, Canada because the course was super fun and I finally landed a flair tuck no-hander in front of an amazing crowd.
2020: My favourite stop this year was probably Chengdu. I felt great on my bike, threw some new tricks, and I hung out with my friends a lot and the fans are really great as well.
Favourite dessert?
2018: Mixed berry frozen yogurt.
2020: Gelato or frozen yogurt.
Biggest inspiration?
2018: My future. There is so much that can happen and that really keeps me going to do my best!
2020: Seeing the progression of BMX is my biggest motivation. It makes me want to keep learning and pushing every time I get on my bike.
What is your ‘Go-to’ song?
2018: My Sh*t by A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.
2020: Untouchable by YoungBoy Never Broke Again.
Favourite BMX trick?
2018: A super whip, even though I haven’t been able to land one they look cool.
2020: I really fell in love with backflip bar spins over the last year. They feel so good.
Favourite school subject?
2018: Math.
2020: I am not in school anymore, but I still love to learn, and I think I focus more on history now.
Pet peeve?
2018: Bullying in any form.
2020: Bullying is and always will be my biggest pet peeve.
Early bird or night owl?
2018: I am for sure a night owl, but I don’t sleep much so I am up pretty early.
2020: Early Bird for sure.
Favourite fast food?
2018: I try not to eat fast food, but if I had to choose it would be Subway.
2020: Chic-fil-a.
Would you rather go forward or back in time?
2018: I wouldn’t change anything about my past so I think I would go into the future.
2020: I would go back in time to relive a few moments and just be able to enjoy the same feelings again.
Favourite catch phrase?
2018: SEND IT!
2020: SEND IT!
Scariest moment?
2018: Getting hit by a golf cart in China and going to the hospital.
2020: Getting hit by a golf cart in 2017 and having to go to a Chinese hospital for stitches.
Favourite city or country?
2018: My favourite country has to be Australia.
2020: 100% Australia.
Favourite smell?
2018: Might be new books – a little weird.
2020: Tiffany and Co. perfume/cologne.
Which would celebrity would you get star struck by if you were to meet them?
2018: If I met Ellen DeGeneres, I don’t think I would be able to talk from shock.
2020: I think this will always be Ellen DeGeneres.
If you could only wear one outfit for the rest of your life, what would it be?
2018: Joggers and a big sweater.
2020: Joggers and a hoodie.
If you were a superhero, what would your name be?
2018: I have no idea what my superhero name would be!
2020: I still haven’t found the perfect superhero name... someone should make one for me.

2018: The fans!!!
2020: The best thing about FISE World Series is seriously the fans. They are amazing.
If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
2018: Less violence.
2020: I would have there be less violence.
What’s the top thing on you bucket list?
2018: Ride a gondola in Venice, Italy.
2020: Take a boat ride through the canals in Venice, Italy.
Best thing about your job?
2018: Traveling and meeting new people!
2020: The best thing about my job is getting able to travel the world and meet incredible people while doing what I love!
