The return of a champion

Starting things off on this beautiful Friday morning, early risers gathered around the Crédit Agricole Languedoc Street Park to support our six finalists in the Women Skate Pro competition. After two 50-second runs for each contestant, and a final round with five attempts to land two of their best tricks, the judges delivered their rankings.

In third place comes the super stylish Jéromine Louvet, who laced both an ollie on the stair gap and a feeble on the down rail. Coming all the way from Spain, young up-and-comer Daniela Terol Mendez challenged her elders with two smooth runs, starting off with a beautiful air on the hip and lacing tricks all over the course. That wasn’t enough to take down Charlotte Hym, however, as the current French Champion let her technical prowess take over. With her solid overall performance and her final boardslide on the down rail, she takes home the gold medal once again!
