Following a first day interrupted by the weather's caprices in Reims, the registered riders for the 6th edition of the FISE Xperience Reims were in the starting blocks on this second and last day. In fact, on saturday the Skateboarding qualifications did not take place, and only the riders from the Pro BMX Freestyle Dirt category could perform on Vincent Chrzanowski's course. Only BMX Freestyle Park could go as scheduled, thanks to a very useful roof. 

 

 

 

 

All the skateboarders woke up this morning in joy as they could see a better weather outside. On saturday, it was only possible to ride the Skatepark very late in the evening, but it could completely dry out overnight and welcome competitions all day in the junior, amateur and pro categories. 

The qualifications stirred the riders' competitive spirit as Rouen skater Adrien Bulard finishes in first from the qualifications early afternoon with 92 pts, but the young Joseph Garbaccio is close behind him with his 90 pts. Indeed, he confirms his rage for victory during the finals by reaching the first step of the podium with 5 more points than his rival. Thomas Belot, only 15 years old, takes the third place before Normandie's Paul Gallelli and Hugo Corbin, from Seine et Marne. 

 

However, Adrien ends up winning the Best Trick of the competition.

The BMXers outside could get on their dirt course again and try to take flight in the Parc Léo Lagrange this sunday. However, to make up for the lost time due to rain the day before, amateurs went directly to the final of the competition. Coming from the Auvergne region, Nicolas Bridault comes in first in the amateur class, in front of two "locals" : Alex Bibollet and Louis Peyre, well known on FISE events. In Pro, Andres Pardo from Colombia takes the first place with only one little point before Anthony Jeanjean. The third step of the podium welcomes Jean-Baptiste Peytavit. These two are actually a part of the BMX Freestyle Park French Team.

 

We will note that Tim Bringer from Nice, wins the Best Trick presented by the Moroni company, support of the event.

The hall of honour of the Complexe René-Tys was full and welcomed 8 different nationalities for this 6th edition of the FISE Xperience Reims. 6 of them went to the final in this last pro class competition of the day. 

The riders kept over 2 700 spectators in suspense throughout this competition, live broadcast on SFR Sport 3 and the FISE Youtube page.  

 

The BMX Freestyle Park French Team was here. Two riders of the team actually climb on the podium : Anthony Jeanjean and Istvan Caillet. They place respectively on the 2nd and 4th places of the podium.  

 

Between them, three nationalities stand out. The English Cam Peake, 2015 FISE Xperience Series tour winner, wins the final. South America is in the 3rd and 5th spots : Victor Munoz the Chilean and Jonathan Camacho from Ecuador complete this sport quintet.
