THE FISE WORLD SERIES SHANGHAI WILL TAKE PLACE FROM 16 TO 20 OCTOBER
After Montpellier, the next FISE World Series event will be hosted in the dynamic West Bund district in Shanghai, a location rich in sporting heritage.
The FISE World Series Stops are international, multi-disciplinary events that bring together the best international urban sports athletes. Hundreds of amateurs and professionals from all over the world take part in the series, which takes place in iconic cities renowned for their support of young people and sport. With the global expansion of action sports, FISE events are enjoying solid growth, especially among millennials. The festival’s vibrant atmosphere always draws large crowds – cultivated by dedicated host organizations and inspirational local and international athlete ambassadors.
WHICH DISCIPLINES?
FISE World Series is a selection of contests on sports areas and parks specially designed and assembled by Hurricane Group, capable of enhancing the performances of the highest world level while remaining accessible to the Junior and Amateur categories.
UCI BMX Freestyle Park World Cup
Olympic discipline since 2020, BMX Freestyle Park is characterized by aerial tricks made possible by the shape of the structures and the speed of the riders. While the technicality of the tricks is important, riders are also looking to exploit the Park to the fullest by finding original lines.
UCI BMX Flatland World Cup
The simplicity of a flat surface and the creativity provided by 20-inch bikes make BMX Flatland the most artistic urban sports discipline. Riders combine skill, balance and creativity to perform a kind of dance with their bike; the subtlety of each trick and overall aesthetics of the run always count in the scoring.
WORLD SKATE Roller Freestyle Park World Cup
In Roller Freestyle Park, athletes seek maximum speed to link aerial tricks and various grinds. Skates are equipped with special wheels on the underside and a smooth surface for gliding over the metal parts of the Parks. As a highly artistic discipline, the Rollerblading community is committed to preserving the spirit of the sport and promoting it as a way of life.
WORLD SKATE Scootering Pro Tour - Street
A fast-growing discipline, Scooter Street has quickly found itself rubbing shoulders with other sports and sharing their spots. Street riders use city structures such as stairs, ramps, benches and sidewalks to perform a variety of highly technical tricks.
FISE World Series Skateboard Street
Initially a simple way to get around, Skateboarding expanded in the 80s and is now widely popular. Skateboarding's influence now extends into many areas of culture, and continues to grow thanks to its inclusion in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. In Street, riders compose runs where tricks count as much as versatility and line commitment.
Breaking
How the dancers express themselves and their style depends on their own individual identity. There are 4 main types of movements: Toprock, Downrock, Power Moves and Freezes that the dancers use.

FISE World Series Shanghai will find its home in the dynamic Xuhui district, a locale rich in sporting heritage. As a high-quality cultural and sports leisure area that Xuhui District is actively building, the West Bund has multiple public sports facilities, including nearly 9 kilometers of running, walking and cycling trails, a skateboarding park, basketball courts and climbing walls. Located in the heart of Shanghai's bustling Xuhui district, West Bund, Xuhui Riverside provides the perfect backdrop for the FISE World Series, with its modern facilities, scenic waterfront views, and vibrant atmosphere, this iconic venue promises to elevate the excitement of the competition to new heights.

More than just competitions, the FISE World Series events bring together urban sports fans and enthusiasts to show off the disciplines to as many people as possible. From riders, organizers, DJs and speakers to judges, participants and partners, it's a whole community that comes together to enjoy epic FISE experiences. Competitions are always the highlight of the event, but spectators also enjoy a wide range of activities to immerse them in the festival : Music Festival (everyday for two hours after the competition), foodcourts, Bilibili animation, Kids Zone… but also the T&ARTCON：an exhibition dedicated to fashion, art and comics with the presence of artists and a Pokemon card competition during the event!
