FISE Shanghai is in full swing with an intense second day of qualifications and practice sessions, bringing the West Bund district to the high-energy vibe of international urban sports competitions.
Scootering Street: the French riders dominate
On the Street Park, the World Skate Scootering Pro Tour Men's Street qualifiers set the tone for the day. Among the 23 riders advancing to the next stage, the French athletes stood out by taking the top spots: Lucas Di Meglio led the pack, followed by Alexandre Bailly and Léonard Bometon.
Following this strong performance in scootering, professional skateboarders hit the park for their first practice session in preparation for tomorrow’s qualifications.
Roller Freestyle: youth leads the way
Over at the Freestyle Park, the women kicked off the day with the World Skate Roller Freestyle Park World Cup qualifiers. Out of the 11 riders advancing to the final, 14-year-old Jang Seoa from South Korea impressed the crowd by taking the lead. She was followed closely by Mei Myoga from Japan and Carla Martin from Spain, as young talents stole the spotlight.
BMX Freestyle: final practice before the big stage
The day concluded with practice sessions for the UCI BMX Freestyle Park World Cup, where both male and female athletes fine-tuned their runs ahead of the upcoming competitions.
