FISE World Series Budapest – 3 athletes to look out for
With only a week to go until FISE World Series hits Budapest for the first time ever, we take a look at some of the athletes who are undoubtedly worth watching.
Roman Abrate (Roller)
Abrate is one of the biggest entertainers on the Roller circuit and knows how to hype up a crowd. The 29-year-old Frenchman put on a great showing in the first leg of the FIRS Roller World Cup in Montpellier this year. Although just inches from a place on the podium, he created some amazing lines. Having come runner-up overall in 2016, you can guarantee that Abrate will be hungry for a win in the Hungarian capital next week.
Benjamin Hudson (BMX Flatland)
Hudson made a huge statement in Montpellier by putting together some of the smoothest combos in the BMX Flatland competition. It was a run the crowd will never forget, and made a solid impression on the judges too. Currently standing in 3rd place, can the young Chilean boost his way further up the FISE World Series rankings?
Alex Coleborn (BMX Freestyle)
If you follow the world of BMX then you’ll definitely know the name Alex Coleborn. The Jersey-born rider is one of the hottest names on the FISE circuit and has the ability to pull off the most insane tricks in the book. Seriously, who saw him achieve the world’s first oppo downside whip to foot jam whip back at Montpellier in 2012? Coleborn will come to Budapest with a point to prove … and some sick tricks up his sleeve.
You can watch these guys and other top athletes at FISE World Series Budapest from 16-18 August – make sure you catch all the action live on our Facebook page or our YouTube channel.
