Scooter Best Trick shuts down the Freestyle Park

13 May 2024 15:19

While the Scooter Pro Finals are always a great show, the Best Trick that follows is nothing short of incredible. Freed from the pressure of carefully timed runs when the clock is always ticking, the riders let loose with some of the most committed tricks in their arsenal.

And in this respect, the superstar of the discipline Jamie Hull is not to be outdone. The Brit literally threw himself into a double backflip with a quintuple whip (yes, five!) to take 3rd place. Second place went to Roomet Såålik from Estonia, who pulled off a world first with an ice pick to frontflip never before seen on this type of spot.

And the best of the best goes to Jack Ward, from Adrenaline Alley in Corby. An insane, risk-taking banger, the kind of thing you'd never see in a run, both innovative and dangerous. Quite simply, the best trick today: a frontflip nothing front scooter flip on the step-up transfer - it's still enough to send shivers down our spines just to write it down!

And these are obviously the kind of performances that the FISE crowd is hungry for, as they screamed and shouted to push our riders to the limit. The kind of performance we're already looking forward to seeing again on the banks of the Lez. Thank you, Montpellier, it was just crazy, and we can't wait to see you next year too!
