The First Ever FISE Women’s BMX Street Contest!
11 riders from around the world gathered at the Street Park today for the first ever BMX Street Contest dedicated solely to Women.
Each of the women had 2 runs of 50 seconds to shred the course and try and impress the star studded line up of judges. The line up represented the best of the best from the World’s female BMX Scene. The riding level was incredible but only 1 could win and the title went to FISE regular Anahi Valentina, both her runs were packed with tricks and grinds, she shredded the whole of the Park and landed a big feeble drop to start her runs which blew us all away.
In second spot was the American rider from Kentucky, Bethany Hendrick, her progression in the last 2 years has been unbelievable to watch and she looked fully at home on this course showing us her versatility with a lovely smith grind on the ledge and then a big barspin off the trailer. In third place was the little shredder from the UK Aubree Henson, who has one of the best manuals we saw today, at only 11 years old it goes without saying the future is bright for her!
