THIRD STOP REPORT
The third stop of the FISE Xperience was held over the week-end in Canet en Roussillon in the south of France. In spite of a pretty unpredictable weather, we could count 109 riders in total and 13 000 spectators who came to support the riders in BMX and Roller.
On his first participation in Canet-en-Roussillon, the parisian Julien Cudot great winner of the 2016 FISE World Montpellier Pro Roller was very impressed by the conditions : « The spot is super good really with the park next to the beach. The park is small but super cool, there’s a lot of different lines ».
The girls also received the honors this week-end and Manon Derrien wins the contest.
Focus on a champion no one can beat, Manon Derrien.
Barely 23 years old, she comes from Bordeaux, she’s been riding since 10 years and she usually trains both with her girls and boys. She’s not scared and she’s determined to the point where she wins pretty much all the competitions in her class, especially the FISE World Montpellier last month.
Next stop of the FISE Xperience Series will be exactly in a month, we will meet in the city of Reims with this 4th stop. We can expect a big show with BMX Freestyle, Skateboarding and the cherry on the cake… The big BMX Dirt comeback ! Definitely an event not to be missed, the dates being june 25 and 26. The BMX Freestyle professional finals will be live on sunday late afternoon on SFR SPORT 3 (ex-MCS EXTRÊME). To be continued !
