Kio Hayakawa does it again in the UCI BMX Freestyle Flatland Worldcup !
It's a big day for the finals in Shanghai! The day began with the UCI BMX Flatland World Cup Men's Finals this morning with the 8 qualifiers . Each rider is given a 3-minute run to get in as many combos as possible and convince the jury on this final World Cup stage!
The Top 3 from the semi-finals didn't last, Yu Katagiri finished in 7th place after a committed and highly technical run, but several errors and stumbles cost him his initial first place, as did Thailand's Poona-art Pakphum, who finished in 8th place.
After an incredible 11-place comeback from the qualifiers to the semi-finals, Canadian Jean William Prevost climbed to second place on the podium alongside Japanese Kio Hayakawa, thanks to their respective original and technical combos.
Likewise, Dustyn Alt continued to climb the international rankings, finishing in 5th place for the German.
